How do i make an object transparent in paint shop pro 9?

Question: How do i make an object transparent in paint shop pro 9!?

So i have two pictures!. Ones big and ones small!. I want the small one transparent so that it looks like i just drew it on there but it has a wite background right now, so when i paste it onto my big picture, it has that white on it and i want it gone!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Use your "magic wand" tool to eliminate the white before you paste!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
