I'm being completely honest here as i am an artist too and know how important that it
you artwork is really good! don't let anyone tell you otherwise! sometimes I can be a bit over-critical of my own work but people see past the minor imperfections that I can see so clearly and think it is amazing! so don't be too hard on yourself! creating art is a lifelong journey and when you are completely happy with all you have done, that's the day to quit art!. it is an infinite quest and no matter how long you draw or paint or sculpt you will always see something wrong with your work!. Even the master artists like Leonardo da Vinci will most definitely NOT have thought their work perfect!. But we do, you see what I mean!?!.
I would certainly buy your artwork if I had the money but unfortunately I don't but I will certainly recommend you to my friends and I will thoughraly enjoy viewing your work online!.

I am always on the lookout for art and artists that I love!. I don't have a big art collector's budget, so it makes it hard for the lover of art in me!.!.!.so I try to find works that are affordable, yet still unique!.

I only see originals on the site!. I like it when artists create artist's proofs and limited edition prints!. I may not be able to afford your originals, but if you make prints, I get to have something I cherish, I get to have a personal connection with the creator of the piece and that is special to me, you get to make money off of prints and you get to keep your original so that it goes up in value as your name and recognition increases!.

I think limited edition prints of your original artwork is a win win for you and your new fans!.

I hope this helps put it in a different perspective!. So many artists I know stay starving because galleries take most of the profit, but if you can find ways to self promote and make money from your art by reaching out direct and affordably to customers, you may be able to make a fine living out of doing something you're passionate about!.

I think it's a reasonable price!. I'd buy it if I have the money!. I really likes your abstract paintings, and it seem like that it's the best selling ones!. However, I'd buy some of it, but it wouldn't be my major ones though(no offense)!. I'd put it some where in my studio instead of my bedroom or living room!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Hester, your record of sales to date should tell you what you need to know!.
Your work is derivative, if not out right copies!. The term "Baroque" is neither new nor does it apply to your style!. Your knowledge of anatomy for the artist is sadly lacking!. You do not understand light and shadow!. Please take a class or read Itten on color!.
Your abstract pieces have merit in that they appear to be original!.!.!.!.but since I do not make a study of abstract art would hesitate to make a purchase based on the derivative nature of the balance of your work!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Hester, your work is really beautiful!. It would definitely sell!. Your name isn't big yet so you wouldn't become a millionaire, but you could pay the bills!. I don't know where you live but try to get in contact with a local art dealer or art store and ask if they would sell your pieces for you!. They would take a small cut, but it would get you work out there!.

1!. You should not think of your work in terms of "decorative art" category!. (When you do that, it automatically reduces the price!.)

2!. You should have a broader subject range that at the same time shows your point of view as a whole!. (Right now it is hard to tell your point of view!.)
