Question: Have you ever been on a demonstration!?

I've been to a few, I think some of my favourite placards/signs were:
Make Badges not War (on badges, obviously)!.
Make Love not Badges (when the badgemakers got bored ;) )!.
Amnesty/Oxfam (I don't remember which, it was a few years ago now) made cardboard cutouts of AK47s to protest about the arms trade - you had to sign it and send it in to Downing Street!.
One May Day there was a sign in a shop/cafe that said: "Please don't smash our windows", then had two arrows drawn underneath, one saying "Starbucks" and one "McDonalds"!. I liked their initiative!.
I would try looking at Indymedia to find good pictures of protests all over the world (see link below)!.

I was at the "poll tax riots" in 1990 what a great day that was!. I did have a placard given to me by the civil service union but I cant remember what was written on it something about the poll tax and Maggie Thatcher I thinkWww@QuestionHome@Com
