Photography can get you into many jobs!. If you think of it!.!.!.photography is everywhere!. Billboards, magazines, advertising etc!.

There are several different fields of photography, to name a few; wildlife photography, sports photoraphy, fashion photography, music photography, medical photography, fine art photography!. There's loads of opportunities!. It's a great way to mix work and hobbies, it's great if you have a true passion for it!.

It's good to hear that you are considering going back to college, and I really suggest you do it!. Learning photography at college gives you so much more options - as you will get a paper qualification for it!. With a good teacher you will be able to develop and interact through your skills, learn new things, improve etc!. Going back to college won't get you a job there and then, but if you visit a photography job website (see link below) you can post an advert about yourself and explain that you are interested in maybe even becoming someones assistant!.

Going back to college will also give you a good chance to improve and build upon your portfolio!. A portfolio is very important and can ultimately get you into better jobs to do with photography, so I reccommend you build a good quality one right away!. It will be good to show flexibility amongst the use of cameras, so shoot digital (or DigitalSLR) pictures and SLR pictures to show variation!. If you do go back to college they will mostly be using SLR cameras (film), so you will learn the basics like how to focus the camera, how to adjust the aperture, how to load the film, how to develop the film etc etc!.

Going back to college will give you that step up into a career, so I say go for it, and good luck :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

Getting into the business (making a living) requires a lot of work and marketing of yourself!. Its very competitive especially news, journalism!. You have short deadlines and will be in high stress situations sometimes!.
Weddings are fast paced and you are responsible for an important day in someones life with no chance for a re-shoot!. You must be professional and prepared for anything (camera breaking in the middle of the job) It's not about you so don't expect the bride to feel bad for you because you have an attack !. It's her day!.
An education is always helpful in any career, but it's not an easy breezy job all the time!.Prepare for lots of interviews and not always getting the job!. You will need people skills and sales skills to get anywhere !. Good Luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I say, GO FOR IT! Doing something you enjoy for a living just might help you to calm down and relax! I think it's a great idea for you!. Study photography inside and out, get yourself an SLR camera!. You may even enjoy film more than digital, so give it a shot if you'd like!

Doing something and accomplishing something in your life will help you to feel good about yourself, and of course HAPPY! It's refreshing!. It's even more refreshing if it's something YOU want to do!.

Seriously, do it!. You'll have a lot of fun!. It may or may not make you the richest person in the world, but it can bring so much joy if you're passionate about it!.

I kinda understand where you're coming from because up until a year ago actually, I had a lot of bad anxiety problems!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yeah go for it!

Photography is a really fun, rewarding career if you can afford the right equipment!. Start out with a decent compact camera to get into practise with, and maybe download a beginner version of Photoshop!.

Then when you think you're ready splash out on a digital SLR and you can start working professionally! It might be worth investing in some good lighting/studio equipment too, though it really depends how committed you are to this!.

As for the panic attacks - maybe you should see a therapist!? You're right, this is going to be a really big step for you but it should pay off if you can stick to it!.

Good luck!!! xxxWww@QuestionHome@Com

i have them to and i'm 23, and dont get out much!. i know how you feel!. shitty isnt it!. jsut do what you want to do if you can!. dont do it because you want a career out of it, do it because you want to, and soon enough you will have a career out of it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Few papers use staff photographers these days!. Why not take evening classes to see how you get on!. (And while your there sign up for spelling lessons)!Www@QuestionHome@Com
