Question: How Do I Get The Paint Brush Draw On My Picture!?!?

i got everything right for now!.!.and i have the brush and im drawing on the picture but nothing is showing!.!.its not drawing anything!.!.!?

check layers, you could be painting on wrong layer, hidden by another layer or mask, if you are on one layer, , then image may be wrong format in image mode, check if gif, png or jpg, and indexed or rgb,
