Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
open coloured image,
duplicate layer,
change top layer top b&w by desaturate, or lower saturation,
erase bouquet of flowers on gray layer,

the coloured flowers will show through, you have option to increase color, or change hues and add different colors,

Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X2

This way works rather well !.!.!. Have your color image in the work screen of PSP and make a Duplicate of it!. You now have 2 like images open in PSP!. Reduce one of the images to your gray scale but re-adjust the "color" back to 16 million (the image will stay a B&W but will now accept color)!. At the top of the screen is a click on menu button called Image and go to Increase Color Depth!.
!.
Use the Clone brush and turn on the Precision Cursor and click on the bouquet in the COLOR image then mouse over to the B&W image and click and paint (clone) in the color on the B&W image of your bouquet!.
!.
It's very fast and easy to un-do booboo's and if you zoom both images to the same % value you can be VERY precise in the coloring (cloning) by changing the Clone Brush size if and when needed!. You can then use the Free Hand Selection tool to draw a Marquee around the area (the bouquet) to then adjust color, contrast and what not, if needed, however you could adjust the color in the color image 1st if needed before cloning in the color to the B&W!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
