Acrylic painting looks dull when dry.?

Question: Acrylic painting looks dull when dry!.!?

I tried to paint using acrylics (I didn't mix them with anything, should I have!?)!. My finished painting is so dull with no shine or gloss at all!. I want that nice shine like with oil paints!. Any suggestions!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

You should always thin your paints with acrylic medium!. Use gloss, or gloss gel medium if you want a glossy finish!. An extra coat of gloss medium on top will help if you want it really glossy!.
also, acrylic paint always drys a shade darker, so keep this in mind when mixing your colors!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
