hair isn't such a hard thing to draw!.
The way I draw it is I start with the shape of the hair, how it falls upon the person's shoulder!. Then I usually fill it in with smaller strokes from my pencil, that being the strands of hair!. Then to add shading, I can use my 3b-4b pencil to shade the darker parts of the hair and the eraser to help make the highlights!. Make sure the light source is the same for the hair as it is for the clothes!.
If you don't know how the hair would look, try looking on google for a person who's in the same position as your character's drawing :)
Hope this helps!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You say you're doing it in manga/anime style but you don't want the hair to look cartoon-y!? Seems a bit strange!. I suggest to study photos or the hair of the people around you!. Hairstyle magazines are especially good for this!. Remember that manga-ka or animators had to learn to draw realistically before they drew stylized!. When drawing hair, be aware of the hairline of your character, which are unique to everyone!.!.!. square, rounded, widows peak!. also choose where you want the hair to part, this will determine how the hair will fall!. Finally, don't try to draw each individual hair, hair tends to gather naturally in small clumps!. I hope that advice helps, I can't provide you with any tutorials!. Keep practicing and you'll get better!Www@QuestionHome@Com
