Question: How can i get a yellow glow effect on a picture!?

i am trying to make a logo and i want to put a glow effect on the logo, like on this website!.!.!.!.

theres 2 ways u can achieve that effect:

A) create a new layer and draw a oval shape using the photoshop ellipse tool (choose a yellow colour)!. Make the oval shape size similar to ur logo size and put that layer below ur logo layer in photoshop!. Now, select ur oval shape layer, and go to 'Filter' -> 'Blur' -> 'Gaussian Blur'!. now a Gaussian Blur window should pops up and u can adjust the radius size!. play around with that and hopefully u will get what u want!

B) open photoshop, create ur logo on a photoshop layer!. then click on the 'fx' button in ur layer panel (it is located at the bottom of the layer panel), select outer glow!. and a window of layer style should pop up, then you can change the properties of the outer glow, eg, size, spread, colour!. just play around to get ur desired effects!.

you can always use photoshop for that!.!. just double click at the right spot on the layer to activate layer properties!.!.

but the image you gave doesn't use that properties!.!. i think he's/she's using normal layer with feather effects!.!. just make a new layer, put the colour that you wanted, use lasso tool and highlight the shape that you wanted, then right click and choose feather!.!.
