How to put someone from a photo into another photo?

Question: How to put someone from a photo into another photo!?

So i have Gimp and i want to know how to take someone out of a photo and put them in another photo!. Is this possible!? If so how do you do it!. Thankss!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Photoshop is amazing!.

instructions for photoshop:
-put your 2 pictures on as different layers!.
-Take the picture that you want to take the person out of and use the lasso seperate the picture and cut the picture, then paste it as a new layer!.
-Delete the picture you took the person out of, you don't need it now
-Position the person (still as a different layer) where you want it on top of the other picture!.
-When you have it where you want it; Go to Layer, Merge Down
-You now have your picture with your added person!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
