well, there are lens cover leashes, so you dont lose your lens cover!.!.

a tripod for long exposure, thats a big, heavy camera,

depending on what lens you get to begin with, you are gonna want a close to mid focal length say an 18-135 mm and possibly a long distance, say a 55-200mm or 70-300!. ill let you know, the faster the lens, the more expensive its gonna be!.

you might want to take advantage of the compact flash memory style!. compact flash has lots of storage potential!.

a second grip, the MB-D10 - features a second shutter release, and extended battery life!.

dont forget the extra battery, and get an extra memory card as well!.

other accessories are possibly an underwater housing, camera bags, lighting setups, bellows for macro shots, speedlights, and other external flashes!.
