I heard there were these pen things that you can use with your hands and it goes on to the computer screen, is that true!?

Yes, it's true! They're called tablets or drawing pads!. Here's a picture of one:

I have one, too!. It's a flat drawing surface that gets plugged in through a USB port!. They come with a plastic pen so that you use it much like you were drawing on paper, and it does appear on your screen!. You can buy one just about anywhere computers and accessories are sold!. I got mine at Best Buy!.!. it's a Wacom (seems to be the most popular brand, lol)!.
