All 18-55 mm lenses are exactly the same when mounted on the D60!.

Others have named some excellent "wider" angle lenses for you, but this is the answer to your actual question!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

18 mm is a wide angle, but Nikon does make lenses that are wider angles that that!. The best I found was this 14-24 mm!. I don't have the price though, it really should cost a lot, seen the features!. also, you may want to look up the size of the Nikon D60 sensor, so you know what is the 35mm equivalent (it should be around 1!.6x) so you can know if your lens will still be a wide angle on your camera!.

For the 14-24mm: http://imaging!.nikon!.com/products/imagin!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

On your D60, the 18-55mm will be 27mm-83mm (film camera equivalent!. You should go with the 14-24mm (21mm-36mm film camera equivalent!.)Www@QuestionHome@Com

While the 14-24 mm lens is a great lens, it is designed for full frame cameras !.!.!. the lens you want to look at is the 12-24 mm lens!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

the small number is the wide number- all 18-55mm are 18-55mm

wider is anynumber under 18mm, so 12mm or 10mm et cetera
