Question: How do i mke the backround of my photos black ,while keeping the subject "regular" like in this picture

you see, now how do i do that!?
i dont have photoshop or a professional camera, but im wondering if its possible to do it on an editing website or with a regular point and shoot camera!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

That was shot inside and the subjects were far enough away from the background to the flash did not light it!.

The further away you can keep the background, the darker it will get !.!.!. there is a way to calculate that using the inverse square law, but generally it your subject is more than halfway from the background toward the camera and the room is dark (as in at night with just a few lights on and none behind your subjects) the background will go dark !.!.!. even black!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The photographer used a flash to expose the people only, the background was far enough away to not be exposed!. Shoot with a bright flash at a fast shutter speed to keep the background dark in any ambient light situation!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
