Question: Drawing advice!?

I can't see the pastels until I log in, so some would be unable to see it!.!.!.

I suppose you're talking about the finer points that makes it look realistic huh!?

You need more colour changes here as 3D things have alot of color changes!. And you kinda didn't put much care into the highlights!.!.!.Glass bottles happens to have really dark parts and then light without alot of color changes!. For glass cups, it the reflection of lights on it that you have to take note of and be careful with it!. There are alot of it! For the liquid in the bottle (Its wine, right!?) its not just one color you know!? There are bound to be some relfection on the bottole and over the wine making some parts lighter!. Look up at your reference more carefully!. As you also need to look at details more cafefully!.

The flower oil pastel!.!.!.Nice range of colors here but the flower petals are kinda rough or are they like that for real!?

I notice in your pastels!.!.!.that you tend to make everyone the main character!.!.!.
Like in stories, art has the main character and the supporting characters!. In other words, I'm asking you to emphazise on one part like say a bottle, a glass of wine and a book and the background has silk cloth around the objects!.
The book is in the middle of the bottle and the cup with the title and author's name on the front cover and is the main character!.
The book will be the one having the most detail of all or like a camera going in focus is the sharpest!. As for the rest, the bottle and cup is a little blur than the book and then the silk is more blurer than the 2 objects!.

For humans,
Hmm I guess a little more practice with your anatomy here!. Some flesh here and there in charcoal tend to go sorta weird!.!.!.like the feet is awfully small!. Or arms would go shorter it ain't foreshortening!. Draw more!. If you can try to draw people when they are sitting, walking, or whatever gestures you find!. Try sitting in a restaurant or a cafe!.

And I say you ink wash is very fluid, but that's all I can say as I don't do much ink wash myself!. I think the art here bends on purposely on a more simple style!.

Take note I didn't say anything much on the mature art, as I didn't log in as Im too sleepy!.!.!.gotta sleep!.!.!.

Oh and keep working!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think this is quite divine!
The way you showed detail in the pen/ink wash was quite justifying!.
I think you need a tad work with dimension in the pastels!.
Charcoal lighten up, you dont need to get mad at the paper tad bit dark if you feel as if the colors are going light to dark use side of charcoal works WAY better!. The oil pastels were not that bad!. I think you should draw more oblique drawings with them!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
