Okay this is no lie, in the Classic TV Show, Mr!. Ed, the horse was really a zebra, and that's why the show was never filmed in color, and that lead to it's cancellation! You can research that for yourself!. But what I'd like to know is why didn't the black & white zebra stripes show up on black and white film!? There is no greater contrast than black and white (zebra)!. Your right, it doesnt make any sense!. It says FALSE!.Www@QuestionHome@Com What the h*ll are you talking about!? I don't care what "anyone" or any company like Snopes says, Mr!. Ed was NOT a Zebra!. For one thing, look at the head of the horse!. It is not shaped or has the confirmation of a Zebra!. Zebras are very, very difficult to tame and are extremely temperamental and almost impossible to work with!. They are far, far too wild to be used in the way Mr!. Ed was, especially way back then!. There are a few semi-tame ones now that are used in the movies, but not to the extent that Mr!. Ed was!. Trust me on that, because I've worked with animals all my life and used to be an Animal Keeper at several zoos!. There have been horses made to look like Zebras, but not the other way around!. also, there is "no way" you could photograph a Zebra in black and white OR color and have the stripes disappear UNLESS they were painted out on the animal, or altered in Photoshop, etc!.
