Question: Do i have the potential to become a famous artist!?

ok well im not sure what i want to do when i get older so help me!!!

You do have potential!. No one knows if they will be famous: who knows if you spit in the wind which way it will blow!
But, if this is something you love to do - and you will need to love it because you will have to work hard at it - then pursue it!. But do not neglect other things like your academic studies!. You need those, too!.
But you must be working at your art every day!. How many hours does an Olympic gymnast practice a day and in a week!? And if you want to be the best, you have to do likewise!.
The reason why some people are saying you were better at 12 is that you were being honest and looking at things as they really are!. Now you are a bit 'stylized' and sort of copying an 'in style'!. Don't do that!. Styles change!. Be honest, be yourself, look at what is really there; you will interpret it in your own way without trying because you are an individual!. Look at the book 'Drawing on the Left Side of the Brain' for some good exercises!. Look at the masters and how they did potraits!. Copy them!. Go to museums, learn grasshopper, learn from all the 'big boys - the greats who stood the test of time!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

But one thing you want to work on is making your work your own!. You want to get to developing your own style that sets you apart from the rest!. I'd say use of color has a play in it, too!.!.!. One artist I can think of to be an example is Melity 'Miss Monster' Curphy!. Currently she just does free freelance!. I wouldn't caller her 'famous famous,' but she definately has something going for her!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You were doing better at twelve!.!.!.what are you doing for instruction!? Draw from life!.!.!.if you want to be an "Artist" draw everyday and take classes in anatomy and life drawing!. Join your local art league and become part of the arts community!. the members will help and advise you!.!.!.they are all artists!.

I think you're incredibly talented and that you should focus on art being both your passion and your career!.

Try to find classes somewhere outside of school, and a mentor, as well, who can guide you!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
