IMPORTANT: Do not take any more pictures until you recover the pictures and move them to another location!

Yes, ALL or MOST of pictures can usually be recovered!. When you delete a picture it changes a setting in the "Table of Contents" (TOC) on the media to say that the space reserved for the picture can be reused!. If you take any more pictures they can use that space and then recovery becomes unlikely!

There are many utilities available to recover the pictures, some free or shareware and other's for sale!. Many vendors have a free trail version that you can try to see if they suit your needs and that may be the best place to start!.

Google "Photo Recovery Software" and you will get many hits!. Check out some of those sites and see what works for you!.

Many people will tell you that the pictures are irretrievably lost but, in reality, when you "delete" the picture it changes one character in the TOC from a Zero to a One (or vice versa)!. The software figures out which character was changed, and as long as another item has not been written into that area of the disk/card, it changes it back and your pictures are saved!.

HTH!. Good luck!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
