I am not a professional photographer, but i know a good photo when i see one!. Yours is very good and i especially like the angle of the shot which is parallel to the tree in the foreground!. Your photo also has depth which you can see from the different layers between the foreground and the background!. You should try entering your photos in competitions and see where that leads you!. Good luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com

No offense, but that photo looks very amatuer and bad quality, and really not appealing to the eye at all, im just being brutally honest!. don't worry you have the right idea we all have to start somewhere, just have a look at some famous photos and get an idea of how they go about taking a photo, thats what i did!. but like i said we all have to start somewhere and if you have passion for photography then you will go places!.

PS!. dont try to be all mainstream and be like every other photographer just take photos of places, things, or people that mean something to you and you'll find that people will feel that meaning in the picture!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It doesn't do anything for me!. It is in focus, but it has no subject, a boring POV, and it is somewhat overexposed!. If it is a travel picture, it says, well, I stood here and snapped a photo!. See the walkway!? Tree!? Water!? OK, next!.

If you are interested in photography, I would suggest a class or picking up a book or two at the library or bookstore on beginning photography!. Start learning some technical and artistic stuff, and apply your new found knowledge to your photography!. As you learn and your skill grows, your images will get better and better!. Best wishes!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It looked too cluttered!. So there is no main object or theme in the picture!. What were you trying to show!?

If it is the river, you have not showed enough of it while the trees and the upturned table are stealing the limelight!.

If it is the upturned table, you need a close up!.

If it is the tree, which one!? Cut out the other one!.

It it is the pathway, then you need another angle and cut off the tree on your left, to make it more focused!.

Lastly, you have taken the shot facing the sun!. This makes the tree infront of you dark and unclear!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think it's clear and well-taken!. But a photo also has to move the observer, like any art, doesn't it!? What do you feel about this picture!? What did you want to capture!? The water!? The tree!? For me, it doesn't move me, but I think you're going the right way!. I think you begin to find out what attracts you to a shot in time and then you start looking out for things!. Me!? An amateur beginner too, so keep at it!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I find this lighting good, but the scene itself is too busy!. It would be better at another spot without houses or from taking it from the other side, as if you are looking from a house!. I like the trees and the walkway, but I just found it too busy and the leaves were there, but not all the way, so the tree looked bare!. Sorry, I didn't really find this one 'wow'!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Take a look at Pete Turners images and notice two things!. 1) graphic design within the frame
2) the use of strong colour to catch the viewers eye!.

Then look at what the pros are doing in the same arena !.!. use of light, compositon and colour within each image

i love the pic
sounds silly but what does it look like in black and white if u can do it could u please send a link to look at
sorry but i love black and white photos and think it would look brilliant
and by the way i think u are very good maybe taking it up as a job would be a really good moveWww@QuestionHome@Com

It looks good but really you should get an idea of what you want your photos to "say"!. Make your own mind up as the style and content of photos!.

I personally spend a lot of time looking at what other photographers produce!. This help me to understand what I like and don't!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

taking photos into the sun is hard!. try keeping the sun to the side of your subject!. The centre of the image is over exposed - bright and lacks the details!. you camera is struggling to find the correct exposure because it's so bright!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I like the little wooden bridge thing, and the reflection of the trees in the water!. You have to appreciate nature to like it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

i think the house at the right of the picture ruins the peaceful look of the photo and does not blend in!. I think you should watch out for things like that in futureWww@QuestionHome@Com

I'm not gonna lie, its a pretty picture!.!.!.but if you're looking to be a proper photographer you're gonna need to produce and think up much more imaginative and unusual stuff than that :] Hope I helped xWww@QuestionHome@Com

Its pretty, but is that a upturned plastic garden table in the water!? Were you taking a photo of that!? Kinda strangeWww@QuestionHome@Com

not bad for a starter, you have a lot more to learn!. believe in yourself and try your best!. i think you can make it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

a little flat, and boring needs a bit more punch, possibly early morning light or early evening would give you that moody type of light, or maybe a litle more contrast !Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think its missing subject matter and focus!.!.!. what were you trying to capture!? A particularly uninspiring piece of photography I'm afraid!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Amazing :DWww@QuestionHome@Com

Speaking as a retired pro photog, I think it's quite good!. Keep at it!Www@QuestionHome@Com
