Question: What caused the streaks on these photos!?
http://myweb!.tiscali!.co!.uk/sandallight/i!.!.!.

These are 35mm photos taken with an old OM10 SLR!. The lens is an old Optomax f=135mm with a Makinon 2X convertor!. I have also had streaking similar to this when using an old wide-angled lens!. I have used this camera with a 50mm lens with no problems!. Thanks for any advice!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I'd bet money on it being light leaks!.

They're extremely common, especially in older cameras where the foam rubber has gotten gummy and no longer seals properly!.

If you look up the seller "interslice" on Ebay, you can get enough replacement seal material, along with very good instructions, to replace your light seals with no trouble whatsoever!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

i will agree with an earlier respondant!. this looks like a developer issue!. the photo paper was not completely submerged in the chemicals or there was something on the photo paper when it was submerged!. this can happen from time to time when the chemicals in commercial machine developers start to wear out or the machine malfunctions!. there's no way to tell if that's going to happen to you!. but you should be able to get your money back!.
take a look at your negatives and see if the streaks are present!. this can also happen during negative development if the parts of the film are touching each other or something else!. either way you should get your money back!.
if the film looks ok then get it developed at another shop and see if the same thing happensWww@QuestionHome@Com

Where do you get them developed!? It looks like a developer issue to me!. Some of the white cloudiness looks like the film was slightly exposed!. And the color of the streaks would indicate a chemical problem in the developing process!. Look at your negatives!. If you can see the same streaks on your negatives then it is a film problem!. If they are not there then it is a developing problem!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Because they all occur at the same place on all the pics I would suggest it's a light leak in the camera, because it's just a thin line probably caused by sand or grit or a nick in the light seal!.
