Painting is "one of the MOST beautiful ARTS"!. If you decide only painting as "THE MOST", you dishonor MUSIC, DANCE, LITERATURE etc!. Well, you have your personal right to value PAINTING mostly, but that doesn't include all of us!. To some one Music might be of Highest rank! One important matter for you to think & rethink: One painter needs to observe his/her surrounding to go on painting; one writer needs to observe his/her surrounding, the society, the characters around; one choreographer needs to see every movements to copy through his/her hands, steps, body movement etc----but from where you get MUSIC!? From where you get TUNES!? Nowhere! It's an extraordinary talent! You may think it as God-gifted, as believer or you may think it as nature-gifted as non-believer!. Of course painters like Van Gogh, Picasso, Dali were most talented indeed, yet they had to observed or to get idea from their surroundings; then they applied their talent!. But an uneducated (read: with no academic background) person can create TUNE & that TUNE becomes CLASSICS! How!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Not really!. I love manga and animation, and that is something I like looking at, but that is from a personal perspective!. This question will have many answers, but art is not just listed as a art form!. I love C!. S!. Lewis and J!. R!. Tolken for their literary art work, and they have more talent than Van Gogh does in that respect, along with the intellegence issue!. Van Gogh was a brilliant guy with a few problems, but his illustrations were his treatment for his own psychosis!. Da Vinci, was a great artist, but also a great mathmatician and scientist!. He understood relativity, and that is saying something!. You have people like Andy Warhol that is a pain to see, and even harder to hear about in the line of an artist, though his artwork goes for millions!. Then you have some of my favorite artists like Queenie Chan and Seung-Yup Cho, and Anne-Marie Horne, who the respectable artists would never recognize as artists!. So what is the most beautiful artistry!? The one that you find you can not look away from!. Peotry, text, paint, sketch, pottery, or just music!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I was searching a few days ago of a painting epitomising ethereal beauty!. I couldn’t find a singular instance of an artist having painted his imagined beauty upon canvas!.

Awe inspiring architecture in its ancient and timeless magnificence!. Paintings daubed by inspired men!.!. Poetry moves the spirit and fires the imagination!.!.!. philosophy stirs the intellect and fires the thoughts !.!.

I think that sculpture is the most beautiful!. Painting is wonderful, but I like to be able to walk around an object and see it from all different viewpoints!. With painting you can only see it from the one angle the artist has chosen!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I would say either painting drawing or sculpting would be the most beautiful art forms because you create them with your own hands and eyes its more personal than say photography or computer workWww@QuestionHome@Com
