I'm assuming you're telling the truth, even though you can't spell, or, maybe those are typos, so I'll give you the benefit of the doubt!.
I've worked as a freelance cinematographer and photographer for National Geographic many times!. Having a degree will help you a great deal, but having a PHD in a particular area, not photography, would help even more, and it would almost guarantee employment with them!. (Ex: You also have a PHD in Archeology!. You'd then be an expert in photographing Archaeological findings, digs, artifacts, etc!.)!. With that in your pocket, you'd probably end up a producer too!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You're not going to 'just get picked up' by National Geographic or any other wildlife or outdoor publication!. Alot of those types of pubs!. use freelance photographers, the ones who work for them are basically the best of the business!.
You're best bet is going to be hitting the woods yourself, on your own time and dime!. Take your pics!.!.!.!.!.get the goods and make a killer portfolio!. You need to get a reputation!. You can work with consultants as well, who will work to get your photos published, that may be your best bet starting out!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Leave Michigan Uni, learn English properly, take photos to build a portfolio then start applying for jobs, maybe in 10 years you'll be successful!. It takes ages to get there!!!Www@QuestionHome@Com
