Question: Curving a logo in Photoshop CS3!?
I created an orb in Photoshop!. And now i want to put my comapny logo on it but curved around the orb!. HOw do I do that!. Please give me a tutorial website or an in depth discription by you!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The easiest method is to use the filter Pinch!. There used to be a 3D rendering option in Photoshop, but they took it out at CS1 (to my dismay as I used that function a lot)!.

Put your logo on a separate layer, and use the filter Pinch and slide the slider to the left!. Make sure to set your transparency for the layer to something like overlay!.

Aside from that, I do all my curved effects in Illustrator with the warp functions!. If I need it absolutely accurate, I then use Strata3D and get an actual 3D render of it!.

Start with pinch and hopefully that will get you the effect you want!.

Adobe Illustrator is another software package from the makers of Photoshop!. It usually comes in the Creative Suite from Adobe!. It's what most professional designers use, but if you're not familiar with it, I wouldn't even try to use it at this stage!. Stick with 'Pinch' it should do what you're looking for!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
