Static Subject?

Question: Static Subject!?

In Photography Terms, what does a "static subject" refer to!? A lot of motion!?

I'm asking this because I've read that Lower ISO (slower film speeds) are useful for brightly lit scenes, or scenes with STATIC SUBJECTS!.

The very opposite!. Static means still, immobile, not moving!. Slower films are useful in this situation because a slow shutter speed can be used without compromising image quality!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
