Question: Do i have a carrer in photography!?
im almost 13 and these are all 100% my photos if u have any questinos about how i did anything or basically anything just let me no! i was just wondering if i have a chance at it!.!.!.i KNOW i have a desprate passion for it though so critizim helps, thanks:

You certainly have a creative streak!. I like pic 2!. The two pics of the people jumping into the water are a good effort at capturing a mood or emotion!.
When transforming a digital picture into black and white make sure they are not quite so overexposed!. It washes out all the detail you need for a good picture!.
When shooting pictures of yourself, use the timer and a tripod instead of holding the camera in your hand!. Or set up the picture yourself but have a friend shoot it!.
Last, please stay in school until you learn to spell better and use proper punctuation!. My 15 year old would be ashamed, my 12 year old would be embarrassed, and my 7 year old would never make that many mistakes!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Some of the pics look contrasty!. If you are using a digital camera, all aspects of pictures can be altered by using a good editing program!.
However if you are only 12 and you have a passion for photograpy you will get much better!.
Read articles about photography on line, look at the work of well know photographers and just keep taking pics, which cost nothing if you are using a digital camera!. As Matt says composition of a pic is important!.
When I was in a camera club I used to say that a good pic can be taken with a cheap camera or very expensive camera!. LOOK and THINK before you press the shutter!. Another tip was check the edge of the viewfinder / screen to make sure you have not got someone's arm or other irrelevant detail in the pics
I decided to teach myself phototgrapy when I was about 18 and had pics in national magazines and local papers!.
Dont give up on negative comments here!. Just go out and enjoy your hobby, later, as Matt again suggested, perhaps a course would help you!.

These are pretty good!. The fifth one you need to center more though and the final one needs better lighting!. But I like how you colored in the bathing suits on those few!. Try taking some photography classes and I promise you you'll get better (not that these are bad they are really good : ) )!. The classes really do work!. And you're only twelve and I'm surprised at the quality! So you have a lot of time to improve too! Good luck, I'm sure you'll have a career in photography!. You seem like you have pretty basic camera knowledge but an art class or two would really help fuel your passion i think!. You just need to teach your eye about composition, line, color, etc!. All you really need to start with is passion, and it seems like you already have that, so I say go for it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

look into a petter camera then a digital snapshot camera
picture 1 and 3 look like crappy pictures that you see on myspace
2 looks pretty good
you should consider taking an art class to learn about composition

As a novice 12 year old photographer I think you are doing fine!. As a career!.!.!.!.Who knows!? That is a way off still, so you have lots of time, growing and maturing to do between now and the time to choose a career! For now, apply yourself in school, especially in your regular curriculum!. so you will have the underlying skills to be successful in whatever you end up doing!.
I did like the first one, and the flower!. Your point of view on the flower was good, much better than the usual snap looking down into the flower!. The jumping into water pictures were full of life, although I don't think the selective color works very well there!.
In high school you may have the opportunity to take photography or art as an elective!. I think you should do that!. You can start by checking your library or bookstore for books on beginning photography!. www!.kodak!.com and www!.betterphoto!.com have good tutorials and tips and great galleries of images to look through!. Start learning the technical and artistic stuff, then apply your new knowledge as you practice!. Always be aware that Photoshopping will not make a mediocre shot good, and it may hurt the good ones, so use post processing sparingly!. Take lots of pictures!. Study them for what is good and bad!. Dump the ones that are not good, and just show your best ones!. You will find that your skill will progress and your pictures will improve and you will get better and better!.
