Question:

As an Artist iin India [ got a degreein fine arts ] I started my career in Anim ation , and got it into graphic design earnin a decent salary but now i feel saturated , fighting boredom!.
I feel more interested in doing 2d animation but then the slary is isnt much in animation !? and after 7 yrs in working with companies , i feel i should something which gives me freedom and sense of peace and also to earn more!.
But I am torn between money and interest !. right now i dont have time to do a painting !.I am more interested in doing short animated movies which i have lot of ideas and stories!.

I want to be invovled both in animation and painting!. so where should i start !? do full time painting and keep animation as hobby !? or the opposite!? which makes enough money to live a decent life !?Www@QuestionHome@Com

What I think is you should start something of your own!. Develop it, advertise it, progress it!. If your sick of working for others why not try and work something for yourself and promote it to TV stations or large animation companies!. Maybe its time for you to break out from the shell and give out whats yours and show your potential!

I think both catergories are a unique subject to fine arts, do you feel satisfied about your animation career!? would you like to take it a whole new level!? =] If not then why not try a different type of animation, 2D animation still exists but sadly its not as popular as 3D why not try 3D it may stretch your animation path longer =] experiment, take risks its what art is all about, take risks to what ever circumstances

For painting, because you got a degree in fine arts I think you can start your own collection!. I assume that your young, live freely and paint your emotions on the canvas and reveal your true self to the world!. Paint them all on your canvas, start your own personal collection and exhibit it in your local gallery and advertise it online, people are bound to come and observe your paintings!. you can make money by selling your creativity!. =] let the viewers communicate with your paintings =]

I'd do the one that pays the bills full-time, and do the other one as a serious hobby that can be developed into something more professoinal, and eventually pays the bills as well!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
