Question: How much should I charge to put someone's photo prints on a CD for them!?
What do you think would be a fair price, including the cost of the CD disk and a jewel case for it!? There are twenty photos to put on it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

There are two costs !.!.!. the fixed ones, jewel case, padded mailer and CD disc and the variable, which includes the time it takes you to sort or organize the twenty photos, burn them, label them and put them in a padded mailer and mail them!.

Your time is worth at least $18 as a burger flipper at your local burger emporium!. Since you are providing a skilled service, I would think you would want to charge accordingly!.

Somewhere in the fee, you have to include a portion of the cost of eventually replacing your scanner, upgrading your photo software, etc!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

So do you mean you have to scan the 20 photos!? If that is the case I would not consider doing it for less than $100 because of the time required and the post scan effort to remove dust / scratches and get the colors correct!.

I charged $150 for mine!. When you give them a CD, you are practically giving them permission to make as many prints as they want!. You want to get paid for labor and supplies!. also I considered this a fee for giving them rights to my work!. Hope this helps!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well they only charge 99 cents at Walgreens if you get your prints printed from them too!.

So I'd say, $5 to do it all on your PC & your CD!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
