actually for glass-blowing it's usually between 1600-1900F and the vat of molten glass is about 2000F!.
And depending on the kind of glass it can have an even lower melting point!.

At least for enameling glass starts to melt around 1500F, but there are also enamels for aluminum which melt around 1000F!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
