Question: Russian 20th century art!?
Apologies for cross-posting -- I posted this in "painting," and got no responses, so I thought I'd widen my net a little bit!.
I'm interested in learning about Russian visual art, particularly during the Soviet era!. Does anyone know of any books that are good introductions to the topic!? Famous artists/artworks!? Are there any art galleries in the USA that have substantial collections of Russian/Soviet art!?
I know absolutely nothing about the subject (except some general understanding of socialist realism), so any information would be helpful!
