Question: A decent video editing program for making AMV's!.!?

Hey!. I'm looking for an upgrade from Windows Movie Maker!. It's free, but not good enough!. I tried the trial of Sony Vegas, and found it too complicated for my technologically impaired brain!.
What other video editing software could you reccomend!? I was hoping for something advanced but simple!. I'd really like a program that could do video layers, I never figured out how to do that on Vegas!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

a great simple program is Adobe Premiere Elements!.

It allows you to do layers and heaps of great things, plus it doesn't take long to learn!.

Plus, this is created as a mini user-friendly version of Premiere Pro, which is a leading program in the industry, so its quality is great too!

Premiere Elements should cost you about $100 by itself- its very well worthwhile and I found it a great way to start learning video editing, but without the limitations of things like movie makerWww@QuestionHome@Com
