Retouching question?

Question: Retouching question!?

Ok so heres the eye!. To help me learn photoshop, how would you "fix" this!. Both what you would do and how you would do it!.

I would fill the white circle in using clone or heal!. Then heal or clone out the highlight dots here and there!.

So what would you do and how would you do it!?

also you can download and post an example if you like!. There should be enough pixels for you to show me how!.

I don't know if this is what you are after, I just treated it as i saw fit!.
Image: Adjustments:Shadow!?Highlight!. Lifted the shadows, fiddled the midtone contrast!.

Image Adjustments Brightness Contrast!. Upped the brightness a little!.

Used the saturation tool to up the saturation in selected areas!.

Burned a little aroud the edges!.

Wiped out the highlight and repainted it, also added a secondary highlight on the eye to add more contour!.

Layered it up to create a black frame!.

Hit Edit and Stroke, selected some of the yellow color in the eye!. Added a 2 pixel stroke around the main image!.

Hit layers, flatten images and saved as a jpg!.

Not a good image to start with so the result isn't marvelous !!
You make it difficult, and yes, I know you did it on purpose you rascal !!! But we like you anyway ! :o)

and the cat actually lets you take pictures amazing!. i'd just screen back the flash reflection, not remove it, just screen it back some!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Try brightness/ contrast or maybe even levels or curves in photoshop!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
