How do they get the right amount of ink to come out of a pen?

Question: How do they get the right amount of ink to come out of a pen!?

Ever thought about that!? How is it that the ink doesn't just pour out in a mess all over the place when you use the pen!?
I know it's kinda dumb, but it's just something I've pondered!.

No, this is rather interesting!.!.!.The ink comes out of the pen at a steady rate due to the ball that is at the tip of it and due to gravity!.
It is interesting to note that the Americans spen a bit of money trying to come up with a pen that would work under zero gravity (space), whilst another Country just used pencils!Www@QuestionHome@Com
