Question: I need ideas on painting an ocean!.!?

im doinga mixed media peice and a section of the area is water frmo the ocean!. what ideas , remember mixed media, can i do to make it look awesomeeee!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Mixed media!.!.!.!. well you could seal some water from the ocean in a bag and attach it to your piece!. Or you could take a photo of the ocean and put it on the canvas showing the stage of a wave in steps!. Or you could mix actual sea water with paint and paint the ocean!. Or you could paint a picture of a glass of water with a tap filling it with water from the ocean!. Or you could paint a childs bucket which has scooped water out of the ocean!.

Sounds like a nice piece to be working on - I love mixed media it is really exciting and interesting to see and to work with!.

indian ink and watercolor

i did a waterfall (and many other paintings) with this set of mixed media, and it turned out great!. just make sure you allow the ink to dry completely!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
