1!. OF COURSE it isn't too late!. Art is a lifetime pursuit and lots of people take it up when they're retired! Artists, unlike tennis players and ballerinas, do not ever get past their prime!.

2!. Don't be scared! If an artist -- however award-winning and professional-- is scary, he or she shouldn't be teaching! This is not neurosurgery, it's creativity!.

3!. It's great to learn all the skills and train your eye and hand, and to a certain extent I believe there is definitely good and bad, but there's such a huge range of art in this world, and so many ways of making and using art, that you really will benefit most from an attitude of relaxed concentration!. You can be serious about learning and still have fun!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Nothing to be scared of, it should be something to look forward to!.

Grandma Moses started painting after she was 80 years old!. There IS no 'too late' for artists!. For dancers, yes, but artists no!.

Enjoy the lessons, ask lots of questions!. Learn what you can!. Then practice! Lots and lots of practice!. 90% of what you do you'll throw away, it's the mind to hand that's being taught when you practice!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
