Right away I liked the hiker with the blurred effect on the trees!. I liked the one at the ball game, but dump the selective color on the tiny piece of eye we can see, and make it all B&W or all color!. The one with the man and little boy with the balloon was nice, and I think the selective color worked there!. Those are my favorites!. The silhouette of the tower was promising, but not quite there in composition for me!. The first landscape with the shore and the building was another interesting one, good mood and I like the effect!.

Your other landscapes were not interesting or well composed!. also, don't overdo the effects and selective color!. The only one where I thought the selective color worked was the balloon and kid!.

I think you should certainly continue your photography hobby!. And I would think that way, even if your pictures were simply awful (which they're not) Photography is a great hobby!. You don't have to be Ansel Adams to enjoy making pictures!. If others don't appreciate your work, then continue for yourself if you enjoy and are having fun!.

Take a class if you can, and get some books about beginning photography!. Start learning about the technical stuff, even if you can't set your current camera on manual!. You can use that camera to hone your compositional skills and work on seeing good light!. Any book by Bryan Peterson will be helpful, "Understanding Exposure" and "Learning to See Creatively" are two that should be in every photographer's library!. Keep learning and practicing and you will get better and better!. Best wishes!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes, I enjoyed looking at your photos!.

Much more importantly: What any of us think of your photos is totally irrelevant! If you enjoy taking photos then take them!. If friends and/or family like them then share with them!. If not, do not share!. Just as beauty is in the eye of the beholder so is "suck!."

If you ever go professional then you will need to please your clients; until then please yourself!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Hey, I love photography too, and I haven't taken any classes or anything, but I think that if you give this up, you will be wasting your talent!.

They were great!.
Mondo-fabulous, actually!.

If I were you though, I would play with contrast a little bit more!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think you are gifted in photography, but you need to save up for a better camera, and just practice some more!. I have also seen real cool books around with great tips!Www@QuestionHome@Com
