Good question!. One source I found states about 95 mega pixels!. However, remember this is from the Internet and should be verified!.

In addition, the eye performs a lot of signal processing before the "picture" gets to the brain!. I suspect (but do not know) that the "resolution " of the eye is somewhat less!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

the human eye is not a single frame lens, but joins together hundred of tiny images every second from 90 degrees!.
it is estimated conservatively the eye has 324 megapixels resolution!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

My eyes, are of course, equipped with Foveon? X3, sensors!.

And the lenses are Leitz Noctilux!.

You realize I am just joking!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

our eyes are analog not digital, so hence we dont see in mega pixels, our eyes read reflected photons of light in a constant stream,

pick any number you like

our bodies are not made of pixels!.!.!.pixel means picture cells, which are something that were created by man!.Our eyes were created!.!.!.well, for lack of a better expression, by Gd!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It wouldn't be determined by the lens, but by the retina!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
