Stay away from seeming to be too influenced by Van Gogh and the Impressionists!. You obviously have a great deal of natural talent and can do much better that re-hashing Van Gogh's skies and landscapes!. It will be hard for a young artist to be taken seriously as an artist if his or her work is being compared to a famous master!.

When you seem to be doing your own work with your own style, like with the bar scene painting and the painting with the picket fence, those are pretty impressive!. Find and develop and stick with your own unique style!. I know you have the natural talent to do so!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think copying the work of famous artists IS a great way to learn!. But it does seem like there is potential to getting in a habit of copying one style too much!. So, maybe if you have been practicing with an impressionist style, switch things around a bit and try painting in the style of an artist who did very precise paintings in a classical style!. Just so that you don't get stuck!.
I think it is a good idea to also try for a plain, realistic style also, and see how you interpret things when you are drawing from life!.

My favorites are 1, 2, 6 and 9 but I think they all show great promise!. One and two remind me of the style of Van Gough!. If these are your paintings I wish you well and continued success!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
