Illustrator Career?

Question:

So I've been going to college for my Computer Imaging degree for about 4 1/2-5 years!.!.!.And I am very experienced in Photoshop and Illustrator, and I LOVE doing funky portraits of people, the whole glamour shots effects, and changing eye colors etc!.!.!.!.basically I wanted to know if there was a career of customizing portraits like that, or if I was to come up with my own business doing that, if you think people would actually pay for something like that to have!. Here are some examples of what I mean that I have done just for myself and practice etc!.!.!.!.!.

Why don't you set up a website and have it as a side business!? There's a market for everything, including your portraits! Your work is wonderful!Www@QuestionHome@Com

First, no one is going to hire someone, just to do these limited Photoshop functions!. No publisher or agency is going to have a full time staffer hanging around just in case they need this done!. These are BASIC functions of that powerful application, and, if they needed these effects done, they'd pick one of their regular designers to whip these out!.

For you, this MAY turn out to be a nice, part time, home business that can earn you a little extra money!. But remember, no one is going to go around looking for your!. You have to go out and FIND business clients and sell your services!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
