Your sketches are really pretty good, you know!. But to get more authoritative about drawing the human form, the absolute best way is to draw from the live model!. Can you find a class or a sketch club or group!? You need to do LOTS of drawing, both quick, gestural drawing that captures the weight distribution and movement of the model, and more detailed observational drawing from longer poses!. Even just concentrate on the hands and arms if that's what you're most concerned with, though everything counts towards getting better!.

The other thing to look at in terms of more realistic drawing is volume!. When you outline shapes you get a more commercial, cartoony look!. This is a good skill to have but it's even better to be able to do both!. Look at the patterns of light and shadow, and try to get away from outlining the edge!. An actual human does not have an edge, we're three-dimensional critters!.

I see a lot of potential and wish you great enjoyment and progress!Www@QuestionHome@Com

i'm not fan of such drawing style but i can honestly say u have talent, just practise and that's all, to make them look more real make softer lines shades so that they kinda blend together, dunno how to explain search for tutorials in deviantart, watch in real life how shadows look on ppl face, also while drawing set some example nearby so that u can try to make as much realistically simular as in that example, it's not neccesary to copy (tough that's also way to learn stuff) but just to see how!.!.!.good luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com

they look good, but the problem is that your hand is to stiff!. you need to loosed up your stroke a little!.!.!.
try this exercise !.!.it is very difficult at firt but well worth pursing, it will give you the animated gestural line that your work is missing!.

as you watch tv use your pad and pencil or charcoal and draw a person that you see!.!.!.!. you will only see the for a minute at most in one stance or pose !.!.so be quick it is not a portrait it is an exercise !.!.!.you are not looking for for perfection you are looking to get a sense of the subject with a couple of lines!.
you are not drawing anatomy you are drawing movement or "gesture"
stick with it and your drawing will come alive I guarantee it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

it has progress!. but u still need more practicing( like me too )
more train coz i feel that ur lines are not flexible yet!. i like the sec image the boy looks so much better than the couple image!. start by drawing from real people or their photos!. keep doing it and learn anatomy is the best too!.

for me, i dont really like drawing real ppl but i just like to distort them :p thats why im into children illustration!.

but learn anatomy, shadow, how to draw real ppl is the best start before u already have ur own style!.

and one thing: dont worry if u make mistakes!. believe or not i often make mistakes when i do project and (i have to) find a way to cover it and success :p hahhahh!.!.!.!.!.so draw as much as u can!. even it looks horrible but its okay, its the process!. u will be good as the time flow!.

also see more references more and more again!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

i love criticizing!. but your drawings look to animated!. the best way to get better for realistic drawings is to get photos and trace them over and over!. when you feel good about that then try without tracing and have the photo next to you while you draw!. thats the best i can give you!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

They are good but perhaps work on the shading and the dimensions!.!.!. also in the second one the eyes were uneven and the cheekbone looked a bit odd!.!.!.!.
They are really good otherwise!.!.!.!. try to get a bit more tone into the pieces thoughWww@QuestionHome@Com

they are great, you have talent!!!!Www@QuestionHome@Com
