Without a tripod, go with at least 800 speed film!. You might have a little grain, but with a fast lens you should be able to hand hold!. You will get some interesting effects at shutter speeds less than 1/125, and you should be able to handhold down to 1/30 or maybe even 1/20 if you are steady and have a WA or normal lens!. Let us know how it goes!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I would you the fastest film you can get!. You should have no problem finding 800 ISO but a little faster wouldn't hurt either!. The other thing you need is a fast lens!. Something between F1!.4 and F2!.8 would be best!. Concentrate on holding the camera steady and you should be able to go a little below 1/125th of a second without getting blurry shots!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You might also try to keep the shutter open for several seconds!. There will be lots of interesting results from the moving lights and people!. :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

If you can get 1600 ASA film and use it with a wide angle lens you should be able to reduce your speed!.
Always providing there is not very fast movement of the subjects!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
