The Canon XSi is a great choice for starting out!. Your other links don't go anywhere!. Spend your money on great lens unless you plan to do sports or action shooting, then you'll need a decent weatherproof fast fps camera (minimum of 6 frames per second)Www@QuestionHome@Com

buy a canon
they have the best lenses by far and that is one of the most important things
i have a canon EOS 400D and i would most definitely recommend it
its fairly easy to use but still professionalWww@QuestionHome@Com

canon EOS XSI/450D is good choice!. it has:

-12!.2 megapixel
- Anti-dust cleaning system
- Live View function ( very convenient in shooting high/low angle thru focusing on its new 3" LCD)

good luckWww@QuestionHome@Com

Fhotoace is right on!.

The camera (and the lenses)--no matter how expensive or good they are, matters not until you know how to use them, and know the limitations--and the workaround!.

Like having a typewriter does not make me Danielle Steel, nor having a Steinway makes me a concert pianist!. A decent dSLR is necessary but photography class / lessons is absolutely needed!.

You will be very disappointed if you bought a camera but not willing to read the manual and take lessons on how to use it properly!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Oh, man !.!.!. what you need to shoot those photos as presented, you will need at least two things:

Some kind of education in photography and either a DSLR or 35 mm SLR with more than one lens!.

Start with the least expensive camera body and invest in lenses

At present Canon and Nikon make the most popular and best values in entry level DSLR's
