Question: Would it be safe to spray febreeze on a painting done on velvet!?
So we got a painting from my husbands parents!. It's done on velvet!. It's really nice and we like it but the problem is that his parents are avid smokers and it REEKS of smoke!. I wouldn't like DOUSE the painting, just maybe a light mist over it!. Of course I don't want to ruin it, so I'm asking if it would be safe first!. I already polished the frame but the actual velvet/painted area stinks!. Would it be safe!? Or any other suggestions!? Thanks!Www@QuestionHome@Com
