Just curious as to what you all think of my landscape pictures, I discovered flickr yesterday and love it! None were edited whatsoever, besides the sepia and grayscale options on my camera!.

They had really good movement!. I didn't care for the straight on train track!. I think it was the first one!. I also didn't care for the treeline (dusk)!. It didn't really seem to serve a purpose!. Otherwise, I really liked them!. Good angles and framing!Www@QuestionHome@Com They are mostly a step above the usual snapshot!. My favorite was the sunset train and tracks, I left a comment on it!. The others were all right, a couple were good!. I didn't much care for the tree line or some of the rr tracks!. The badlands shots were made at the wrong time of day to get good lighting!. You have a good many centered horizons!. Sometimes that works, depending on the composition and content, but usually the horizon is better placed off center, with the most interesting feature dominant!. You would be better off image wise to shoot everything in color (and at the highest resolution and lowest compression) and then do any conversions to B&W or sepia in post processing Using the in-camera conversion discards a lot of information!. I recommend the book "Understanding Exposure", by Bryan Peterson!. It will help you grab the nuances of building your picture by taking control to get the image in your mind's eye!. I think you do have vision, and with knowledge and practice your images will get better and better!. Best wishes!Www@QuestionHome@Com WOW!
