well - it was a very nice trip on the ferry - got to see Manhattan and have the Statue of Liberty in the foreground!. The actual statue itself was interesting because of it's amazing history, but after all the history - it is just a really tall statue - and it's really crowded - well it was when I went - and the line to get to the look out location was rediculous - and the view up there was OK - but very cramped and we came down after just a minute!.

By the way, when I went it was just a few days before the twin towers went down in 2001 - so it has significant memories for me - it may not be that significant to others!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
