I like the use of cubism he portrayed because of the uniqueness and some of the vibrant colours used!. I also like some of the blue period artwork because of the interesting sbjects associated with them, and the constant shades of blues/greens!. Three of my favourite paintings by him are The Old Guitarist, Woman with Chignon, and Femme aux Bras Croisés!.Www@QuestionHome@Com I was a kid when i first saw Guernica, I was 11!. 50 years later it has the same impact, I just weep!. Picasso found new ways to portray what it is to be human, exposing hidden layers of evil or tenderness!. I heard an Australian painter whose name I forget tell a story about meeting picasso on a beach!. While they were talking he sensed Pablo looking at him and doodling in the sand with his toe!. When they stopped talking he looked down and there was a perfect caricature of him!. Pablo grinned at him and they both had a good laugh when a big wave came in and washed away a cool million :-)Www@QuestionHome@Com I dont particularly care for his work!. It amazes me how my art history teacher would be ready to orgasm when talking about his work and I would be sitting there like " what the hell is she looking at, I dont get it"!. I guess it depends on your preference of art!.Www@QuestionHome@Com He was one of his kind, everybody will always remember a Picasso!. He had a major effect on art in the 20th century!. Whether you like his art or not, is a matter of opinion and taste!.Www@QuestionHome@Com I think Picasso is awe inspiring particulaly his painting the dream 1932 which seems to have been painted with an effortless ease!. It has a simplistic beauty of its own!.
