Have you tried downloading the latest drivers for ZoomBrowser!? Have you tried to use Digital Photo Professional from Canon!? http://www!.usa!.canon!.com/consumer/contro!.!.!. When you go here the page takes a while to download and then you have to select your Operating System or OS!. The latest version of ZoomBrowser is 6!.1!.1a and the latest version of DPP is 3!.4!.1

also there is a Canon RAW Codec that needs to be installed on XP!. Found on the same page 1!.3, and a CR2 converter for Windows (XP)!.

I find that saving all of the files that I want to download and then install one at a time is quicker as a few of them require a restart!.

As for Photoshop, only CS3 and Lightroom will support the 40D RAW files (ACR 4!.4), but CS3 will not support the 300D RAW files!. I dont know about lightroom!.

i think there was a free photoshop update of somesort that poped up on this computer about two or three months ago that included a raw process of some sort!.!.!.but i'm not sure as my lovely and talented takes care of all that most of the time!.!.!.i asked her about it when i saw it just as she was booting me off the computer to do something of her own!.!.!.and now photoshop does handle our raw downloads very well!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I'm assuming you don't have Photoshop!? There is a program called Rawshooter which is the next best thing to photoshop and you can get it here - http://www!.download!.com/RawShooter-Essen!.!.!.

Edit: If I didnt have photoshop, RawShooter would be my choice of RAW converter

Edit2: I have just looked it up and Adobe have bought Pixmantec who make RawShooter and are closing them down I would imagine!. So be quick!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Adobe Lightroom uses the same RAW "engine" so whatever Photoshop CS3 can read, so can Lightroom!.
