I know bad photographers who make tons of money and great photographers who just scrape by every month!.

Papparazzi's can make thousands of pounds in one evening or nothing at all!.

Selling pictures has become increasingly difficult with so much high quality content available on the internet!.

Nowadays photographers also need to be good at marketing and sales!. Its no good just being a good photographer!.

You might need to rephrase that a little!.

A photographer may charge a certain amount - say $150 an hour - but realize their weekly gross income is not $150 x 40!. It is difficult to have clients for 40 hours each week!. Plus, taking the pictures is one thing, but you usually have post-processing to go through which is easily as much or more time than you spend with the client!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

depends on if you work at wal mart taking pictures of kids or if you take pictures of tiger woods!. there is no standard!. photographing advertisements for magazines is a decent living!. or sometimes you might work for a newspaper which is an ok living!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Very simple, I charge $150 an hour, take it or leave it!. i don't waste time and the pics are dead on!.
