Question: Does writing on your hand with ink have any effect to you!?

My mom and I were wondering if writing on your hand with ink, like a pen, can it really effect you!. Is it piosenes to your body!?

there is nothing that can seep into your skin and poison in ink!.!.!.!. if it was poisonus then how could people live after getting a tattoo!?
now, if you write on your tounge it would taste bad, and if you empty out a couple pens and drink all the ink in them then you might feel kinda sick to your stomach, but no, there is nothing toxic in it!. if there was they would legally HAVE TO put a huge warning on the box!.
i have written on myself for years, even with permenant marker, and i have never had any reaction to it or died from it :) writting on skin is fine!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I've seen preachers (pastors) write on their hands as parishioners tell them names of ones who are sick!. He writes them down as they are going out the door!. I have seen emergency workers write vital signs on their hands when working with a patient!. To me, it is very unsanitary!. I would not want to shake that pastor's hand nor would I want that emergency worker working on me!. The ink could be poisonous, and it might seep through your skin!. Don't do it! No it cannot damage your body!. If there were the slightest risk of it the package labeling would say so!. Eating it could be an issue!. You can go on line to the government's national poison control website and look it up!. I do not suggest calling themWww@QuestionHome@Com
