Question: Ok art buffs, here's the challenge!?
I'm trying to find the perfect picture to paint for a teacher of mine, to say thanks for an awesome year!. The hitch is, he's a religion teacher and I'm really having trouble finding the right picture paint from!.
Then I had a brainstorm!. I decided I paint a picture inspired by a Bible passage!.
This is where you come in!. Tell me your favorite passage that has some imagery in it that I could "draw" some inspiration from!.

I saw a painting one time that brought me to tears !. !. !.

it was simply a lamb, all the feet were tied together, it was lying on its side !. !. !. there was no sign of struggle, and there was love in the eyes of this lame !. !. !. now, that is the tricky part ! !. !. !. how did that artist (a monk, don't know his name) paint love in the eyes of that lamb!?

The painting came through Houston at the Fine Arts Museum !. !. !. a showing of ancient Franciscan Monk stuff !. !. !. most of it was a bit flat and two dimensional !. !. !. but this one was stunning!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

What is HIS favorite bible verse!? All of the verses have a 'visual' side to them (even the 'begats'!)!.!.!.!.!.So using his favorite verse would have special meaning to him!.

Of course, YOUR favorite verse would have special meaning to him also!

Or any verse re: teaching, guiding, learning, !.!.!.!.!.try Proverbs and Psalms if you get really stuck!

I paint myself & if I was to choose - for colour & movement - I would choose the "Burning Bush" from the Old Testament!. I know little or nothing about the bible as us Irish Roman Catholics are not encouraged to read it! Don't ask!!Www@QuestionHome@Com
