I got to say they're both good!. But I like the first one better!. The moon in the second one just feels abit out of place!. There are lot's of great suggestions above mine, so I'll not give any!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The second one works better!. Less distraction, more drama and a better balance!. I wouldn't touch it!.

The first one: it would be great if I didn't have the second one (which is outstanding) to compare it to!. Re the first one, if it was mine I would desaturate the sky quite a bit to make it less top-heavy and to emphasize the strip of activity (meaning elements and color) running across the center of the image!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Try cropping the first one between "Money Mart" and "Checks Cashed!." I just love having the girl in there, although I like the moodiness of the altered sky!.

I know that the top of the buildings are level, but the image still looks like it's "driving downhill" to the left!. Maybe you can rotate it 1-2° to the right and see how it looks!.!.!.!?

Ok I am not the best photograper or maybe not considered one at all!. I have a passion for photographs, I am an artist of many talents with an art degree!. That said I love both of these photographs!. The first one, when I saw it I loved it, then I saw the cropped zoomed in one and immediately loved it also!. The second one left me wishing the first also had the clouds and moon visible also!. Both are great and deserve much praise!.I only wish that one day I will be able to create such great photos!. For some reason the first one feels more "Hopperesque," Don't ask me to explain that !.!.!.

The sky treatment in the 2nd one doesn't works for me!. It seems a little incongruous!.

Clearly, there needs to be something there, though!. How about a brick facade!? Maybe a traditional inner city streetscape -- something as "gritty" as the tattoo parlor!.

deffnetly the first one /244 is better then the second!.!.
in the first the sky and moon r nt going with the pic and even its not looking like realistic!.!.
the over all lighting is not looking like a moon lit up!.!.
the quality of light and mood on the car and surroundings are looking like evening lit( not sunset but b4 sunset)
so 1 st one is good!.!.!.!. NOW

THE 1ST ONE COULD HAVE BEEN A GREAT PIC IF
1) CHANGE PLACEMENT OF THE CAR !.!.!.I FEEL IF THE CAR IS ALMOST RIGHT CORNER THEN IT COULD BE A GOOD SPACE AND COLOUR BALANCE!.
2) IF THE SKY COLOR IS RICH BLUE!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

First image!.!.!.crop it like the 2nd one and blow it up to include less of the surrounding area!.
The moon and the sky is too distracting for my eyes!.!.!. Try another sky more like sunset colored!.
On the other hand, it depends what you are trying to convey and what is on your mind!. As a viewer, I am attracted to 2 things only!.!.!.the car and the word Tattoo!.!.!.!.

Let me first state there's no way I could produce the images you have here!. My vote is is for the one with the moon!. I have no doubt!. It feels balanced and the sky really blends well with the overall colour scheme!. The 2nd one, I think it is the car being on the left and facing left gives it an unbalanced feeling!.!.!.just my opinion and nothing more!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

* I love the isolation of the Merc and the additional ominous sky!.
* The image with the surrounding environment adds context to the uniqueness of the classic hot rod!.

I prefer the one without the moon, I really enjoy the vivid color!. I am also curious to see what it would look like letter boxed, cutting out some of the sky taking some emphasis away from the Photoshopping!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
